Vintage Pair of Cast Iron Stands for Shop Mannequins
Description:
The original set of cast iron stands made in Poland in the 1930s. Originally, they were used to mount a steel rod or pipe, on which the exposition torso, presenting the clothing collections, was mounted.
Construction:
Solid cast iron construction consisting of a body with an internal steel sleeve and three separate legs. In the upper part, there is a butterfly screw for height adjustment.
Range of renovation:
The cast iron elements have undergone a sandblasting process to remove several layers of old paint coatings, then the process of so-called “seasoning” until a natural rust layer was obtained. In the final stage, the whole was secured with a special wax.
Also, adjustment screws and one steel sleeve are new.
