Polish Table Lamp in Chrome
Description:
This Polish lamp was manufactured in the 1960s by the Spóldzielnia Pracy „Technomat” (Labor Cooperative) from Podkowa Lesna, and it is officially defined as the snake office lamp! This model is a classic example of professional workmanship of high quality materials by a small workshop, operating in the times of Polish People’s Republic, and referred to as the Labor Cooperative.
Construction:
The base is made of stamped sheet metal. Inside, there is a massive cast iron stabilizing weight. In the upper part of the housing, installed a switch and an articulated movable steel arm, which is ended with a shade that has got an interesting form, referring to the models from the 1930s. The frame has got a porcelain collar adapted to E 27 bulb bulbs.
The base, arm and shade are covered with a solid layer of chrome.
The lamp has been thoroughly cleaned, mechanically polished. The fully original electrical installation has undergone a professional service.
