Description:

The famous Midgard lamp, model 110 was designed in the 1930s by the owner of the Midgard factory, engineer Curt Fischer, who is considered one of the greatest innovators of the Bauhaus style. Lamps from the Auma factory in Thuringia are considered lighting icons from the 1920s to the present time.
The offered lamp is a great example of innovative design solutions for the light source control system. It is made of the highest quality matrices, with great attention to detail forming the entire structure. The lamp has legible company signatures and designations of the German patent.

The base is made of a steel rod with mounting brackets. The rod keeps the folding scissor arm, which is ended with a straight boom with a ceramic handle regulating the mechanism, and an enameled lampshade with a bulb. The electric harness is placed on special guides which at the same time act as a system of folding arms hinges.
The lamp has been thoroughly cleaned with great care to preserve the original lacquer, chrome and enamel. A completely new electrical system is made on the basis of certified materials. All metal parts are secured with a special wax.
