Primary use:

Manual marine searchlight – one of the basic elements of the equipment of vessels. It was mounted on the roof of the cabin of a ship or a boat and operated from the inside of the control room.

Manufacturer: FAMOR Bydgoszcz – a company producing headlights, signalling and signal lanterns.
Production years: 1960s

Construction:

The searchlight body is made of high-pressure aluminium casting. Inside, there is an aspherical glass mirror. It is powered by a bulb with a maximum power of 100 W. The whole is secured with rubber gaskets. Steel lamp holder is mounted on a cast iron base with three mounting holes. It is possible to rotate around its own axis and to adjust the inclination angle of the reflector.
The set is covered with original gray varnish. There is a factory nameplate placed on the base. The regulatory mechanism is working.
