Primary use:

Manual marine searchlight – one of the basic elements of the equipment of vessels. It was mounted on the roof of the cabin of a ship or a boat and operated from the inside of the control room.

Construction:

The searchlight body is made of pressed aluminium sheet, the front part has a special light-focusing shutter, in the rear part, there is a handle for external adjustment of the searchlight. The lamp is mounted on two movable handles controlled by a lever at the end of the brass guide.
It is possible to rotate around its own axis and to adjust the angle of inclination. Adjustable mechanism is fully functional. The set includes a steel mounting plate. The whole is covered with original grey varnish.
