Art Deco Desk Lamp Designed by Karl Trabert
Description:
An original German desk lamp from 1930s designed by Karl Trabert. It is one of the most interesting lighting products of the European Art Deco style.
Construction:
The base is made of profiled steel sheet with an internal cast-iron stabilizing plate. In the upper part, there is a switch and a movable arm holding the aluminum cover with an iridescent glass. In the place where the bulb holder is mounted, there is an additional regulation of the inclination angle of the lens. Manufacturer’s signature: G2310H.
Range of renovation:
The lamp has undergone a comprehensive renovation – thoroughly cleaned with the original paint coating and patina of time retained. The aluminum lampshade was polished. An electrical installation has undergone a professional service using certified materials – replaced switch, main electrical cable and a plug.
